On the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Illumbe Music Association, it is proposed to produce an opera called El Acomodador; music and musical direction by Javier Jacinto, script and staging by Enrique Santiago, clothing by Paco Rabanne and production by Juan Jesús Neira. All of them born in Trintxerpe. The premier is celebrated in December 2003, at the Barañáin Auditorium (Navarre).
2005
Pasaia proclaims the Center for Culture and Innovation, the Rabanne Space. The citizens of Trintxerpe-Pasaia start to proclaim such a space.
“A space must be created, a place to work, learn and communicate, where the fundamental role is played by the creators”.
“The space is not going to be big and it will be constituted by other elements, but it needs to be something alive, regenerating, in which there is always something going on”.

Paco Rabanne at the Higher School of Architecture of the Basque Country.
The sixth-grade students of the Higher School of Architecture of the Basque Country work on proposals for the future creation of the Center for Culture and Innovation, the Rabanne Space. They use an emblematic industrial building in Trintxerpe as a model.
Francisco Rabanne examines the proposals in a personalized way with each person involved and ends the day with a master class.

Showcase contest.
On the occasion of the sixteenth edition of Ikuska, the International Short Film Festival of the Bay of Pasaia, the Trintxer Cultural Association, the organizer of the festival, established a showcase contest in honor of Francisco Rabanne, in collaboration with the Pasaia Merchant Association, Laurak Bat and Kunsthal Design School.
The contest was open to students of design, architecture and plastic arts, as well as to anyone who wanted to participate with their ideas, turning the shop windows of Pasaia into a playful tribute to Francisco Rabanne.
The winner of the contest was a dress impossible to wear, like Paco’s mythical collection, Made entirely of glass.
